Going for another State Championship

Saturday we won the Texas 3A semi finals 42-36. It was an incredible game and could have gone either way up to the last second. Our incredible defense held Cuero on their 5 yard line for 4 downs in the last minute of the game to keep them from scoring, which would have tied the game. Very intense! So now, we are getting pumped up to play for the Texas 3A State Championship this weekend against Abilene Wiley at SMU stadium. This is our 3rd time to play for a state championship since we have been here in Gilmer, winning in 2004 and losing in 07.....and we are so hoping for another win. What a way to end the year. The kids made these signs for their daddy last night and he was proud to take them to the field house today.
