Kyleigh meets Cinderella

Kyleigh's friend Allie had a birthday party Friday so we made the trip to Rockwall and got to spend some fun time with friends. The party was a huge hit because Cinderella came to the party and fixed the girls hair, danced, sang, did crafts, played games and had a tea party with the girls. Needless to say, it was a HUGE hit. She even brought along her own photographer and took professional pictures with the girls next to her castle back drop. The girls loved every minute of it. Kyleigh cracked us up because as you can see on the video, she would'nt quit asking Cinderella questions and telling her things. The first thing she asked Cinderella was, "Cinderella, what color is your car?" It was hilarious.

This is a typical face for Brayden when he doesn't get his way. You can only imagine the racket that can come out of that mouth when he does this!

Kilgore Homecoming Court

Tonight we are playing Kilgore (obviously I am not at the game) and it is their homecoming so today at the pep rally the cheerleaders did a little skit and had some of the coaches dress up as Kilgore highschool's homecoming court. "Regina" Pate is in red and "Peggy" Pate (Ryan's dad) is the old lady on the far right, he was last years homecoming queen having to give up his crown this year. I am not having much luck with video cameras lately, today halfway through the skit the video camera froze up like a computer and I lost what I had recorded, but I did get this last part which was the really funny part anyways. At the very end it is the head coach that they are chasing up the bleachers.........it was so funny. Ryan said his calfs were cramping in the heels!

kyleigh's choir performance

Here is a link to a short clip of Kyleigh's choir singing in church last Sunday night. My video camera's battery went dead I guess right before it started so I got this from a friend off her digital camera which doesn't record for very long at a time, but it is still cute!

Two little princesses and a litte "wanna be"

I am actually just experimenting with this..............I have never downloaded video to my blog and wanted to see how it worked. This is actually from a couple of weeks ago when I kept Kyleigh's friend Raji for a couple of days. My mom was there one day and took this video, we don't do much video since my video camera is not compatible with vista, but my mom's is so when she's around we always catch some video. The girls were playing princesses and poor Brayden wanted to play along too. He loves these silver sparkly shoes........i think it is so cute, but Ryan hates it when I let him wear girly things...even around the house. I think it is hilarious, I just hope every little boy likes to do the same and that it isn't really strange!

We started gymnastics!

Today was Kyleigh's 2nd day of gymnastics. We had been planning on starting gymnastics in the spring in Longview, but we were so excited that our church's Child Development Center where the kids go when I am working, started a gymnastics program this year. Kyleigh loves it. They do balance beam, bars, hoola hoops, floor mats, and trampoline. It is so nice to have it here because it saves me a trip to Longview and I don't have to take off work. I can just take her for her class on my days off too which is good. Today I was off and Kyleigh wanted me to watch but I was afraid it may disrupt some of the other kids, so afterwards her teacher let her show me the things she was learning and I was able to get some pics. Before we left the house this morning to go, I put Kyleigh's socks and tennis shoes on and she said, "I look like my gymnastics teacher." Sure enough, when we got there, her teacher had on ankle socks and tennis shoes!

Then this afternoon we went to the new park here in town with our friends Adrian, Makenna, and Noah. We are so excited to have this park, it is so nice!!! Kyleigh's favorite is the pole slide and the tire swing.
